A Married at First Sight Australia 2025 bride has been tipped to return as an intruder after her hubby dumped her during their honeymoon.
ICYMI: Eliot Donovan reportedly “blindsided” his wife Lauren Hall when he quit the show during their romantic getaway.
However, Lauren, who is also the ex of 2024 groom Jonathan McCullough, might be getting a second shot at love!

According to Daily Mail, producers are in talks of bringing Lauren back because they had “high hopes” she’d be one of the season’s breakout stars.
“Producers were gutted for Lauren,” one insider dished. “They were banking on her being a star of the show, but her dreams of reality TV were cut short.
“Now, they’re thinking of bringing her back as an intruder to give her another shot and to keep the drama levels high.”
This isn’t the first time a MAFS participant has returned as an intruder. During the 2024 series, groom Michael Felix famously re-entered the experiment after his OG groom Simon Flocco did a runner.
In 2022, bride Jessica Seracino also returned to the show as an intruder with new groom Daniel Holmes after her first groom, Simon Blackburn, was axed from the show just two weeks into filming.
Why did Married at First Sight 2025’s Eliot Donovan quit the show?
One production insider told Daily Mail that Elliot felt like he’d been “stitched up” after meeting his match.
“Eliot was unimpressed from the moment he laid eyes on Lauren. It was clear from the get-go that this was a complete mismatch,” they recalled.
“By the next morning, he was done, with no second thoughts or hesitation. Everyone was in shock, asking, ‘WTF is going on?'”
