Filming for Married at First Sight Australia 2025 has been delayed after a groom was caught leaking confidential info about the new season on social media.
Production for the next season of the marriage experiment is already underway, and it sounds like things are heating up!
One production insider told Yahoo! Lifestyle that there have been several last-minute casting shake-ups, with participants either quitting or getting dropped for having “the wrong intentions”.

This comes as one mystery groom took to the MAFS AU sub-Reddit two weeks ago to spill some tea about the upcoming season, the experts, and the casting process in a post that has since been deleted.
Per Yahoo! Lifestyle, this led producers to find out who was behind this rogue post before kicking them off the show. Yikes!

Another source told Yahoo! Lifestyle that finding participants who are genuinely searching for The One has become harder over the years.
“Every year, as the show gets bigger, it gets harder to weed out the applicants with the wrong intentions,” they said.
“There are too many influencers and aspiring OnlyFans creators seeing the experiment as the easiest way to promote themselves.”
But who are we kidding? Nobody is signing up to reality TV to find love these days…
