Kristian and Mimi Belperio have confessed that their marriage was tested whilst filming The Block 2024.

From Jesse Maguire and Paige Beechey cancelling their wedding to Kylie and Brad Baker calling time on their marriage, the current season of the hit renovation show has been plagued by heartbreak.

This week, the Blockheads will participate in the uber-difficult “Hellway Week,” during which they’ll complete the Domain Listings Challenge and Office, Rumpus, and Hallway Week.

According to TV WEEK, the stress of “Hellway Week” is set to rock Kristian and Mimi’s marriage.

“It was really tough,” Mimi confessed whilst speaking about the stress she endured on The Block. “It’s the ultimate marriage test. Don’t do it.”

When faced with the many tasks of “Hellway Week,” the couple, who tied the knot in November 2023, realized they might not be able to complete one of their rooms, which caused tensions to arise in their relationship.

“The competition was becoming so overwhelming that to try to juggle all the tasks, and the fact that we couldn’t agree on one thing meant it got really bad,” Kristian admitted.

“We couldn’t get our priorities straight,” Mimi added. “It was really hard.”

While filming, the couple had a heated phone call when they couldn’t agree on how to finish their space on time. Mimi angrily hung up on her hubby, causing him to throw his phone in frustration and punch a fence.

“I’ve had a problem with anger in the past, but I’ve calmed down quite a bit over the years,” Kristian said.

“The fact that side of me came out again shows how difficult The Block really is.” And we hope these two stay together because we can’t bear another The Block 2024 breakup!
