Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Tori Adams has dished out some stern words for trolls commenting on her appearance online.
The 28-year-old took to her Instagram Story on July 21 to flag brutal commentary she received in response to a glam snap she posted earlier that day.
She admitted that she “really contemplated” whether to mention the criticism but she had “never received so many messages, so many DMs about something before”.
“There is a lot of talk about, ‘What have you done to your face? You used to be so naturally beautiful. It’s such a shame. You look so different. What have you done?’ You were such a role model to younger women who hadn’t had any work and really normalising that, you know, natural is, is where it’s at’,” Tori recounted of fans’ observations that she’s had cosmetic work done.
Tori, who now lives with her controversial TV husband Jack Dunkley, said she’s always been honest about her decision to use injectables.
“I’ve never once claimed to be a natural beauty. I’ve always said, Botox and filler is something that I get,” she reiterated.
“I used to get it before MAFS. As soon as I came off MAFS, I went and got everything freshened up. And recently when I was in Melbourne, I got freshened up again.”

Tori went on to explain that in the photo in question, she was wearing a “full face of makeup” and had a light in front of her.
“I’m pouting, there’s so many elements, I’ve got a dark lip liner on, someone said my cheeks have been overfilled, there is not an ounce of filler in my cheeks, I think I’m just lucky to have naturally plump cheeks,” she explained.
“You need to keep in mind that I also do have a skincare routine. The Botox absolutely assists, but there are a lot of other factors.”

In the comment section of Tori‘s photo, she copped comments en masse about her alleged new look.
“You look amazing but don’t start getting caught up with the fake stuff all the others do,” one user penned. “You were so naturally beautiful but your face is starting to look Botoxed up.”
“Looking back at you in the beginning your face looks so much nicer,” another noted.
A third questioned: “What have you done to your beautiful self?”
Luckily, a number of Tori’s fans spoke up in her defence.
“Wow, the comments on here! It’s not ok to comment negatively on someone’s looks!” a loyal fan commented.
“If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything. Has she had work, hasn’t she had work, who cares! It’s her choice either way.”
