Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Ella Ding is reportedly trying to “distance herself” from her Sit With Us podcast co-host Domenica Calarco following intense backlash.
ICYMI: In May, Domenica and Ella interviewed problematic MAFS 2024 stars Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams.
However, they copped a sh*t load of backlash after siding with Jack over his beef with Lauren Dunn and defending his misogynistic and just downright disgusting behaviour on the show.
The backlash that followed led to Domenica deleting her social media and entering a mental health retreat, which she recently returned from.
As revealed in episode 398 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Ella reportedly wasn’t too chuffed with her co-host’s decision to go off the grid after everything went down.
“Ella doesn’t seem too happy about the situation and how Domenica has left her to pick up the pieces on her own and hold down the fort,” a source close to Ella told So Dramatic!.
“I get the vibe that she’s planning to distance herself from Domenica, but that’s just my interpretation from what I’ve seen and heard. Nothing’s been said directly.”
The source also claimed that Ella seemed annoyed at Domenica for “coming and going as she pleased”.
“Ella was left doing a bulk of the work,” they added. “She seemed a bit resentful about the situation.”

Another source told So Dramatic! that Ella has issues with Domenica’s “non-existent” work ethic.
“I met up with a friend a couple of months ago, and she knows Ella from MAFS,” they said. “She told me that Ella has a big problem with Dom’s work ethic and that it’s a big thing between them.
“It’s only hearsay. But I can’t help but notice that Domenica has kinda been the one to really f*ck this thing up for both of them, and I wonder if that’s still an issue for them.” Interesting…
It comes after Domenica jetted to Europe for a lavish holiday following the backlash.
So Dramatic! has contracted Listnr and DM Podcasts but they did not respond.
