Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Richard Sauerman has gone Instagram official with his new girlfriend, and we’ve got all the details about their relationship.
After his rocky on-screen marriage to Andrea Thompson, the former groom has since found love IRL with Margie Hawker.
On April 18, Margie shared her first snap with Richard to the ‘gram alongside a red heart emoji. In the selfie, they were even wearing matching reading glasses which is super cute.
A few days later, Margie posted a pic wearing one of the 62-year-old’s ICONIC scarves.
“This scarf looks familiar,” someone wrote in the comments section. And familiar indeed!
Since then, Margie has shared a series of loved-up snaps of the duo on her account.
MAFS fans point out odd details between Richard and his new girlfriend
On June 18, Richard posted his first pic with his new bae, which showed them both wearing the same outfit and glasses, captioned: “Date nite – looking weirdly like twins 😂”.
Fans raced to the comment section to share their love for the new couple.
“Loving seeing this. Wishing you both only good things,” one user wrote.
Whilst another penned: “Wishing you all the best; you truly deserve it all!”
A third added: “Cute couple.”
However, others were shocked at how similar the new couple looked.
“Why do they have the same smile 😭,” one person said, whilst another wrote: “Daughter?”.
A third netizen asked if they were “siblings or dating?” and a fourth wrote: “Twins”.
Like the jokester he is, Richard left laughing emojis under all of the savage comments.
And without the glasses, they don’t look THAT similar… Right?

Under Richard’s hard-launch post, one snarky fan made a dig at his TV wife.
“Lovely! She doesn’t look moody like the chook you had on MAFS,” they wrote.
“She’s not 😂,” Richard replied. And after his questionable moves on screen, we’re hardly surprised by this shady comeback.
What else do we know about Richard’s new girlfriend?
After a lil’ snooping, we found out that Margie is a director of property management at Ray White Real Estate Group in Sydney’s Double Bay.
Per her Instagram, she also has a daughter, whom she shares lots of snaps with.
