Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Richard Sauerman sent Andrea Thompson an apology text after their rocky relationship aired on TV.
While the pair seemed to be the strongest, most in-tune couple when the experiment first started, things later began to crumble after Richard spoke explicitly about their intimacy in front of the cast.
As previously reported by So Dramatic!, the duo has “since become friends again” after not talking for a while after leaving the show.
As revealed in episode 371 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Richard sent his former TV wife a text when their exit aired, in which he apologised for his behaviour.
In the message obtained by So Dramatic!, Richard penned to Andrea: “Thinking of you and hope [you’re] going okay.
“I’m so sorry for the embarrassment and hurt I caused you. I’m starting to realise a few things about myself as I watch it unfold.
“I just wanted to say I’m really sorry,” he concluded.
The message comes after Richard reportedly asked Andrea when they met up for coffee post-show whether “there was any chance of them getting back together”.
However, Andrea wasn’t interested in a romantic relationship with him. Ouch!
