Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Richard Sauerman has addressed rumours about his relationship with TV wife Andrea Thompson.
The couple’s marriage seemed to be the strongest in the experiment for weeks. However, Andrea soon got the ick when Richard was extremely explicit about their sex lives during a recent Commitment Ceremony.
On-screen things between the pair seem tense. Meanwhile, off-screen whispers have been circulating that the show’s “oldest-ever groom” has been gravitating towards younger women during nights out.

“Richard was loving life,” an insider told Yahoo! Lifestyle after a recent event. “It definitely didn’t look like he had a wife at home still.
“He spent a long time chatting to younger women, including Carolina [Santos] from a few seasons ago.”
Richard has since denied claims he’s on the prowl, with the 62-year-old telling the outlet that claims of him dating “younger women” are “untrue”.
“Anyone watching the show can see how into Andie I was, and to suggest her age was in any way an issue is a total fabrication,” he said.
“Blind Freddy can see how into her I was.”
This comes after a source dished that a happily ever after isn’t exactly on the cards for the MAFS faves.
“They’re no longer a couple,” it was revealed.
