Married at First Sight Australia 2024 fans are cringing after Ben Walters sang a “torturous” apology song to Ellie Dix and BRB, buying a new set of ears.
After pulling a runner the previous day, Ben decided to compose and sing Ellie a song as an apology during the February 27 episode.
Now, we use the word “song” lightly because the lyrics were literally: “I’ve been unaware of my f*cked up behaviour. Thank you Ellie”. And we wrote better songs in kindergarten, just saying!

After his performance that would’ve made Vincent van Gogh cut off his other ear, Ben decided to present a two-hour list of things he didn’t like about Ellie, including her age and the fact she wore makeup.
And whilst his list was pretty atrocious, fans were unsurprisingly more shook about his song.

Meanwhile, Andrea Thompson was understandably STILL mad at Richard Sauerman for talking openly about their sex life in front of the entire cast.
When she pointed this out in front of their friends and family, Richard had a huge sulk. But let’s face it, nobody felt sorry for him.
However, the most WTF part of the episode was when Sara Mesa announced that she’d “book an Uber through the app”.
And if you’re going to incorporate product placement, at LEAST make it a little more discreet.
