Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Layton Mills has revealed his surprising new business venture, and it’s caught us off guard.
During his time on the marriage experiment, Layton was the CEO of CannPal, a business specialising in medicinal cannabis for pets. He was also the director of Subgenix, a life sciences company.
On June 12, the former groom took to Instagram to announce that he’d partnered with Woolworths supermarkets to launch “the world’s first” sweetened condensed oat milk.
“BIG NEWS,” he captioned a clip of himself baking a Biscoff and Caramel cake with his new product.
“I’ve been working hard for the last 12 months to bring the world’s first Sweetened Condensed Oat Milk to Australian supermarkets!”
And we’ve gotta admit, it looks good!

Whilst his latest business move may seem pretty random, Layton told Yahoo! Lifestyle that he’s passionate about cooking.
“The show pigeonholed me as this robot CEO with no emotion, but most weekends, you’ll find me either painting or cooking,” he dished. “I grew up with two sisters, and someone was always cooking or baking in our house, so I picked it up as a form of therapy.”
The reality star admitted that while his new biz may seem “strange”, he’d previously owned a milk brand sold across Australia.
However, after his stint on MAFS, he found an oat-based condensed milk online and wanted to be part of the journey.
“I reached out to the founders, two amazing vegan sisters, to see if they’d allow me to be their Australian partner.
“Fast forward 12 months, and Woolworths loved the brand as much as I did, so they’ve signed up as our exclusive launch partners.”
Layton then revealed that the new product would be “sitting on shelves in over 900 stores across Australia, rolling out from July 1.” And he kinda popped off with that one!
