One of The Block‘s most popular cast members, Foreman Keith, has “stepped back” from the 2024 season.
From Team Blue Jesse and Paige quitting the show just weeks into filming to villains who are said to be more “divisive” than Kristy and Brett Beames, the 2024 season of the hit renovation show has been off to a rocky start.
Now, according to the Herald Sun, Keith Schleiger—who has been a full-time star on the series since 2011—will only be making “irregular appearances” in the upcoming season.
“With The Block shooting on Phillip Island this year, Keith had to step back from his full-time duties because of his commitment to raising his two daughters,” a Nine spokesperson told the Herald Sun.
As such, Keith couldn’t commit to spending three months at the filming location.
“But fans will be pleased to hear that he has been involved with filming for our 20th season as a special guest,” the spokesperson added. Thank god!
After all the drama going on behind the scenes, we can only imagine the chaos that will unfold on screen when the show airs later this year.
