According to realestatesource.com.au, a Channel Nine-owned company has purchased the Island Cove Villas complex in Cowes, Phillip Island, located two and a half hours out of Melbourne.

The deal to buy the 1.01-hectare resort was agreed on September 8, the same day The Block pulled out of their Daylesford location, reports the Herald Sun.

The resort, located at 113-119 Justice Road, is comprised of nine units, including one two-storey, five-bedroom property, six two-bedroom units and two three-bedroom houses.

The gorgeous property also boasts a palm-fringed pool, a tennis court, two BBQ pavilions, two pool gazebos, a large commercial laundry and a children’s playground.

In its listing, Island Cove Villas is described as “breathtaking from the moment you arrive”. It’s also a 2.4 kilometre drive from the infamous Phillip Island penguin parade

Bass Coast Shire Council Mayor Cr Michael Whelan said the council was excited to be the home for the new season.

“Council has received the planning application and looks forward to meeting the producers of the show,” he said.

“Bass Coast is one of the fastest growing areas in Australia. We’d be proud to show national and global TV audiences what makes Phillip Island and the wider region so special.’’
