As revealed in episode 355 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Ellie Dix binned the guy she was seeing so she could get married on TV.
“Ellie was dating a guy for about four months before MAFS and broke up with him to go on the show,” one source told So Dramatic!.
“She openly admitted this to Ben on their honeymoon during the Confessions Box challenge. She said it on camera, but they never showed it.” And she’s just as genuine as her hubby Ben Walters!

Contestants also told So Dramatic! that Ellie was “thirsty” and “tried to insert herself into the main drama”.
“It’s funny that Ben copped so much shit from Ellie’s cousin for being fame-hungry when that’s exactly why she went on the show,” one star dished. Savage!
Another source close to Ellie confirmed that the bride only went on MAFS to gain exposure.
“Ellie openly said before going on the show that she was going on because she wanted fame,” they said. “She wants to go out and do her own cosmetics business.”
Not only that, but a third source confirmed that Ellie has been trying to star on reality TV for years!
“She applied for Love Triangle, but they moved her over to MAFS,” the insider said.
And we’re starting to think her saucy cheating scandal with Jonathan McCullough was all for show…
