A leaked video diary has seemingly debunked some of the tension in Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Ben Walters and Ellie Dix‘s marriage.
During the February 13 episode of the marriage experiment, Ellie revealed to her fellow brides and expert Alessandra Rampolla that things were a little rocky in her relationship after her husband “mocked” her during an off-camera disagreement.
The episode was followed by a teaser for the February 14 dinner party, which hinted that Ben would be confronted over his remarks.
However, things may not be as dire as they seem between Ben and Ellie, thanks to a leaked video diary obtained by So Dramatic!.
In the clip, which appears to be filmed in their Skye Suite apartment during filming, Ben said: “Maybe this is not good, maybe Ellie really hates me or something?”
The tour guide then panned the camera to his TV wife, who clarified she doesn’t “hate him”.

Ellie explained that the “producers make it seem like [it is] this huge drama”.
“When they’re asking me questions in my one-on-one interview, like ‘How do you feel about Ben?’, I actually do recall saying, ‘I like Ben, I like where we’re at and we’re in a really good spot’,” she stated. “And look at us, we’re having dinner together.
“What I’m trying to say is, you might only be getting a snippet of me saying ‘He made me feel angry’ – but that was last night and I was angry. And you were angry too [Ben], but they didn’t ask you that.”
Ben added that viewers would only get “one side of the story” when it comes to his differences with Ellie.
“I didn’t write Ben off,” Ellie continued. “But all it takes is a little cut here and there, and then all of a sudden it’s like, ’Ben is a…’.”
The video diary then ends with Ben kissing Ellie.
A second leaked video appears to show the couple getting on far better than viewers have been privy to, with the pair in hysterics over the “bulge” in Ben’s pants.
It seems like all is well in their world! For now, anyway…
