Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Ellie Dix‘s protective cousin Jordan has revealed the REAL reason he grilled groom Ben Walters at the wedding.

ICYMI: After Ben and Ellie tied the knot during the February 1 episode, Jordan interrogated the groom, asking him what his intentions were on MAFS after learning he’d been trying to get on reality TV for years.

During his tell-all in episode 349 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Jordan admitted that the producers played a big role in his confrontation with Ben.

“I had a microphone in my ear the whole time because I was the MC, and the producers were absolutely in my ear,” he told host Megan Pustetto.

We’ve heard of the experts having earpieces during filming, but not the wedding guests!

“They were telling me to ask him questions about why he was [on MAFS]… They were certainly egging me on.”

Jordan admits to getting his tea about MAFS‘ Ben from So Dramatic!

It appeared that Jordan knew a lot about Ben coming into the wedding despite only meeting the groom on the day.

And Jordan admitted that this was all thanks to So Dramatic!.

“When we were taken to the ceremony, the bus accidentally dropped us to one of the groomsmen rather than the bridesmaid,” Jordan dished.

“So I rolled down the window and asked: ‘Who is the groom? What’s his name? Give me the information’.

“We weren’t supposed to know who the groom was at this point and our phones were getting taken away from us five minutes later.

“And in that five minutes, we looked up every article we could. I came across [So Dramatic!’s stories], so I went into the wedding already knowing who he was,” he confessed. And you’re welcome, Jordan! We’r glad to be of service!

Because he’d read all the tea, Jordan had a “preconceived idea” of Ben going into the wedding.

“I wanted to have some dirt on him. So I’m glad I did read those things,” he finished.

And we LOVE that we played a part in the wedding drama!
