Love Island Australia 2023‘s Zac Nunns and Trent Woolman spilled a bucketload of hot tea in the debut episode of their new podcast.
ICYMI: The villa partners-in-crime announced on January 23 that they were launching a podcast, and the first-ever episode, titled The Tea, dropped on February 20.
As expected, it was messy AF, and while Zac touched on his much-talked-about breakup with Lucinda Strafford, that wasn’t the juiciest part of this episode.

It’s no secret that there was tension between Zac, Trent and Nate Page.
Namely, after Georgia Murray entered the villa, and couldn’t decide whether she wanted to be with Trent or Nate.
Things were even frostier IRL, with the podcast besties revealing they went “toe-to-toe” with Nate in an unaired scene.
Trent said that the stoush spiralled after he and Savanah were making “sexual jokes” the night before.
“There was a bit of an argument with Nate… There were just a few disagreements during this certain day, and a few things were said,” he explained, though he admitted he couldn’t exactly remember the context.
“It got pretty confrontational. We were all up in each other’s faces. There was Zac, myself, and Nate kind of going toe-to-toe.”
They then revealed that they didn’t find out until sometime after this fight that producers had “security at the door ready to go” due to the “heated” nature of the fight.
“It was nearly on.” Yikes!
Trent and Zac said they have since been able to laugh about the incident with Nate.
“[Nate] agreed, he’s like ‘Why didn’t that air? That would’ve been so juicy’,” Trent recalled of their conversation at the 2023 ARIA Awards.

They also confirmed they’re now civil with Nate, despite them “slagging [each other] off” on the show.
“When we left the villa, everything was all good,” Zac said.
However, he admitted to reaching out to Nate while the show was airing to apologise for various things that happened while filming.
Zac also confirmed that Nate has been supportive since his split from Lucinda.
“And every time I’m in Sydney, I see him. Nate’s a really good guy,” he concluded. “There’s no beef there anymore. We’ve resolved things.”

Regarding a podcast Georgia appeared on, Trent said it was funny that she said she wished she’d torn him a new one over his behaviour.
“I just find [that] hilarious, Zac, because she’s been in my DMs quite a lot.” Say what now?
“What, while she’s with Nate?” Zac wanted to know. Given how on-and-off Georgia and Nate’s relationship has been since leaving the villa, this is a fair question.
Trent admitted he didn’t know whether they were together at the time but revealed that Georgia “might’ve needed a place to stay very early in the year”, hence the messages.
“She might’ve been stuck in Melbourne, and who do you call? The bloke you stuffed over on Love Island!
“I’m not an Airbnb, by the way!”
Zac Nunns and Trent Woolman reveal which Love Island stars they think are ‘fake’
Discussing their co-stars’ intentions, Zac asked Trent if he thought any of their fellow Islanders were “fake”.
“Oh, hell yeah!” Trent admitted, quickly revealing that he wasn’t buying what Clint Posselt was putting down.
“I just think all the rumours that have come out about poor old Clinny P [Clint’s rap name], you know, about the girlfriend dropping him at the airport for his flight to Mallorca,” he said, referencing So Dramatic! tea that Clint had a secret girlfriend while filming.
“I think that the way he [came] in with a week to go… Look, I haven’t fallen in love in a week before, I find it quite strange. Especially not in front of cameras!”
Meanwhile, Zac said it was “quite obvious that Reid [Polak] was acting”. And duh, have you seen those model shots?!

Regarding their post-show relationships with their co-stars, Trent said he only keeps in touch with “a very select few”, namely Reid, Kale Roberts, Tyra Johannes and Zac.
He also said he went on a “handful of benders” with Savanah Badger after filming, although they have since “fallen out of contact”.
“There’s only one person in the villa that I would say I have beef with to this day,” Zac began.
Saying that he didn’t think it was “appropriate” to name names, he confirmed it was one of the female Islanders.
“Basically, we didn’t get on super well in the villa anyway, but then when we left the villa, this girl got pretty belligerently drunk,” he recalled. “She just made some comments to me that really got under my skin because it was just really inappropriate.
“Then she spoke to a [Love Island] chaperone in a really condescending and rude manner… Then she had a go at me and then Lucinda, and after that, I was just like, I just don’t like this person.”
Trent then cast his vote on who he strongly believed Zac was talking about, and while the name was bleeped out, he appeared to reference Abby Miller.

To cap the episode off, the boys answered fan questions, including one directed at Trent: “Were you ever interested in Lucinda?”
“To be completely honest, no,” Trent replied. “When Lucinda walked in — she’s gorgeous, absolutely, but she’s just not my type.”
Recalling the night Lucinda arrived in the villa, Trent said Zac asked if he would “pull Lucinda for a chat”.
“And I said no. I was never interested in Lucinda,” he confirmed.
