Turns out there’s more to Love Island Australia 2023‘s Abby Miller‘s departure from the villa than we initially thought.
ICYMI: Abby was dumped from the show during the November 28 episode after being voted by her fellow Islanders as one of the “least genuine” cast mates.
However, as revealed in episode 334 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the Bombshell’s departure went down a little differently IRL!
“Abby really left on her own accord,” one production insider told So Dramatic!.
“She told producers and the entire cast that she didn’t want to be there anymore. She wasn’t having a good time in there and didn’t want to stay on the show for the sake of it.”
According to our source, Abby had been “crying for a week” after Reid Polak broke things off with her.
“She wasn’t into any of the other guys in the villa and she was just over it. The Reid thing really upset her as she had genuine feelings for him.
“She wanted to genuinely find someone and she knew that wasn’t going to happen in the house after Reid,” they explained.
“So [the boys] voted her out because they knew she didn’t want to be there and didn’t like anyone in the villa.” And fair enough!
What happened to Abby Miller on Love Island Australia 2023?
On Married at First Sight Australia 2023, Abby found herself at the centre of a huge scandal after she was exposed as Harrison Boon‘s secret girlfriend during his wedding to Bronte Schofield.
Upon her arrival on Love Island, she found out that Bronte’s sister Kirra Schofield was in the villa, causing her to have a major meltdown.
She was also ganged up on by Zac Nunns and Trent Woolman after she revealed some controversial comments they’d made about their partners.
Not only that, but she’d coupled up with Reid (who’d also slept with Bronte), who was using Abby until the next best thing came along. So it’s safe to say she had a very rocky journey!
