SAS Australia 2023‘s Lindy Klim has revealed she was forced to have surgery after sustaining a brutal injury on the show.

Appearing on The Morning Show on December 6, the businesswoman opened up about the procedure and physical toll SAS Australia had.

“I went in with a tear in my rotator cuff,” Lindy, 45, admitted.

Lindy Klim thought she could ‘refuse’ to do challenges in SAS Australia

She also confessed she wrongly assumed she could “refuse” to do some of the challenges in the Special Forces course.

And has she seen the show before? The Directing Staff don’t go easy on anyone!

“I thought that I could go in and say, ‘I can’t do push-ups, maybe I can do squats instead’,” she said. “No. You get screamed at.”

As such, Lindy pushed her body to the limits during a helicopter challenge in which she attempted to climb a rope while in the water.

“I tried to get up the rope, and [my shoulder] just tore even more,” Lindy said. “I ended up having to have surgery.”

Ouch!

This isn’t the first time a star recruit has been candid about the aftermath of SAS Australia.

2021 contestant Erin Holland previously flaunted her gnarly bruising, while her co-star Koby Abberton attributed ongoing back pain to his involvement in the show.
