If you’re a DIY genius with a knack for making a fool of yourself on national TV, you’re in luck because The Block is already casting for 2024.

The hit renovation show is famous for putting a bunch of amateurs through their paces as they try to pull together a masterpiece that will potentially make them millions come auction day.

And if you’ve always dreamed of making the D-list, now’s your time to shine because The Block is searching for “enthusiastic” and “hardworking” teams of two who reckon they can pull together a full reno job.

But be warned because the application process is almost as hard as building a house from scratch.

How to apply for The Block 2024?

The Block application process will give you a taste of the challenges you’ll be facing on the show if you’re successful, so it’s quite strenuous.

However, the good news is that you don’t have to complete the whole process at once, as you can save your answers and hack away at them when you have time. Score!

In order to proceed through the application process you must:

  • Be available for a 12-week shoot period, commencing February 2024, which means taking time off from your regular job
  • Complete all elements of the application, including a video, or your application won’t be reviewed
  • Complete the entire application before October 15

Shortlisted applicants must also be available for a Zoom or in-person interview between now and the commencement of the shoot.
