One cast member reportedly fled The Block 2023 to escape their mean co-stars and it sounds like things weren’t so charming on Charming Street!
From Bedheadgate to relentless bullying, this season of the hit renovation show has been far from cruisey.

And fan-faves Kyle and Leslie Cottone reached their breaking point, as according to New Idea, Leslie ended up going home to Perth!
“Leslie and Kyle can’t stand all the meanness and b*tching going on,” one insider dished.
“This isn’t the type of show they signed up for. They came here to build a house, not tear down other people!”
Apparently, Leslie fled to Perth to attend a wedding and spend some much-needed quality time with her two sons, Luca, 11, and Archer, 7. This trip was planned in advance, however, it came at the perfect time.

Upon her return, the teaching assistant reportedly stayed away from the drama. In other words, she steered clear of Leah Milton and Kristy Beams, who’ve been dubbed the “mean girls” of the season.
As such, their fellow co-stars started calling Kyle and Leslie “Team Switzerland”.
“We would stand back and not get involved in anything trivial,” Leslie told New Idea.
“Like anyone watching at home, I wanted to know the tea but never be the centre of it,” she joked. And girl, we feel you!
The Block’s Kyle and Leslie Cottone applied for the show FIVE times
According to the insider, Kyle and Leslie applied for The Block five times before making it on the show.

“They worked so hard to get here,” the source said, explaining that the pair first applied for the show eight years ago.
“They know that [The Block] could be a real chance to change their lives and even make some money and they aren’t going to let any of this high-school drama get in the way of building a home that they are proud of.”
