Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Tayla Winter has called out the show’s “wellness officer” for “damaging” the mental health of cast members.
On August 28, Alyssa Barmonde — who received a “villain edit” — took to Instagram to slam the show’s producers for not informing participants that Season 10 would soon air in the US.
And it seems controversial intruder bride Tayla is following in her footsteps, as she also posted an Instagram Story expressing her disappointment.
The nurse explained that the wellness officer, Renee, thought she played a positive role in the lives of the MAFS cast, however, this was far from the truth.
“Thank you Renee for deluding yourself so you can be part of a company that continues to damage the mental health of many individuals,” the 27-year-old retorted. “Being a bystander is equally as bad.”
The Story also contained a screenshot from Renee, where she claimed she was “deeply offended” by some of the comments Tayla had made and would be blocking her number as a result.

Tayla also confessed that she was “manipulated” by producers and the wellness team whilst on set.
“They’ll continue to practice unethically if we don’t speak up,” she added. “Something needs to change.”
After exposing “how cruel reality TV can be behind the scenes,” Tayla took one final stab at Renee, stating that being a “Wellness Officer” is the “cruisiest job in the world when you don’t do a damn thing to improve or maintain the mental wellness of others.”
Ouch.
