Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Daniel Holmes has taken a spicy jab at co-star Selina Chhaur on Instagram and mark us down as confused AF.
Daniel — who is fresh off the back of a Team Ellis boxing win against Harrison Boon — recently took to his Story with a “starter pack” meme directed at Selina.
“The ‘I’m here for genuine reasons’ starter pack,” he captioned a collage of photos of the 34-year-old.
One image appeared to be a brand collaboration, while another showed Selina holding up an iPad with the YouTube logo presented on it.
The collage also featured a screenshot of an article about Selina previously appearing on the Channel Seven dating show, The Proposal.
In the meme, Daniel included fake text messages, one of which read: “Babe I’ve applied every year I think I finally got through!”
A second message appeared to reference Selina’s concerns that her TV husband Cody Bromley was “racist” because he confessed he wasn’t typically attracted to women of Asian descent.

When asked what prompted him to post the seemingly left-field swipe at Selina, Daniel told So Dramatic!: “Nothing.”
“Just a bit triggered at the wrong time,” he explained.
“I’ll never mention her or any MAFS drama again.”
This isn’t the first time Daniel has shared some brutal opinions about Selina.
The fan-fave TV bride shared an Instagram Story in October 2022 from the apartment building that houses contestants in Sydney, implying that she’s signed on to MAFS 2023.
Spoiler alert: she didn’t.
However, in response to the speculation, Daniel alleged Selina was only being invited back because she “acted like a victim”.
As for whether Daniel will stick to his word of not mentioning MAFS drama again — stay tuned.
