Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Domenica Calarco has confirmed that her new boyfriend, Jack Norris, is her ex-husband’s best friend and welp, we were right all along.
During an appearance on Listnr Radio on July 19, the 30-year-old flipped on her previous denial of the “rumours” which were originally published by So Dramatic!.
ICYMI: Domenica called the story “pure lies” and “completely and wholeheartedly untrue, false, misleading, completely degrading”. But now, the reality star has sensationally backflipped, admitting that she has actually known her new boyfriend for a “very very long time” through her ex-husband Luke Rodely.
“It’s actually a very complicated story. He was actually friends with my ex-husband which some people might find as controversial [sic],” she confessed. “But I think if you find love, you take love.”
The I’m A Celebrity star then explained that the pair initially connected “during COVID before her stint on MAFS“.
“At the time, it wasn’t the right timing for him and I to be in a proper relationship so I went on my MAFS journey,” she explained. “And funnily enough, his name is Jack and I married a Jack on MAFS.”
Host Amanda Catalano then asked Domenica if her ex-husband cares about their new relationship and whether he is still friends with Jack.
“Look, some people will talk and say that it’s a ‘dog act’ or whatever you wanna call it,” she responded.
“He was a little bit hurt just feeling like, ‘Oh, OK, wow, that’s weird, why didn’t you tell me?’ But we’re really happy and that’s all that matters really.” Ouch.
Domenica also revealed why her new bae Jack is yet to appear on her social media.
“No sight of my special man [on socials], purely because he just doesn’t feel comfortable and it’s not something he wants to be involved in and I completely respect that,” she said.

Now, we revealed all of this tea back in June during episode 297 of the So Dramatic! podcast.
“Jack has been Luke’s best friend since childhood and was also the best man at their wedding,” one friend of the former couple dished to host Megan Pustetto at the time.
“It sounds like it started over six months ago,” they explained. “We’re all utterly shocked and livid. Especially because she said she had feelings for him before MAFS.
“She also said she’s been close with him since before MAFS but went on it anyway.”
The insider added: “She didn’t break up with Luke that long before MAFS, so the timeline seems suss.”
According to the source, their inner circle didn’t find out Domenica and Jack were “in touch again until recently”.
“[We] don’t know if Luke knows about it either… I doubt he’s going to be happy. It’s the ultimate betrayal from both of them.”

Following the release of this piping hot tea, Domenica came out swinging, sharing a rebuttal on TikTok, titled: “When will the lies stop”.
She started: “Regarding a certain podcast once again releasing information that is completely and wholeheartedly untrue, false, misleading, completely degrading.
“Now usually I wouldn’t even acknowledge this because I feel as though giving any oxygen or energy to this person and this platform… there’s no reason to.”
She continued: “But at this point now, the lies that this person is perpetuating and harbouring against me is now actually becoming quite dangerous to my sanity and my mental health as a whole.

The reality star continued to criticise So Dramatic!’s reporting, accusing us of fabricating the entire story.
“When it gets to a point when people are making up lies about my past and going into just complete and utterly disgusting detail that are just pure lies and bringing in people that are my family and loved ones is just disgusting and disgraceful,” she stated.
“I feel quite helpless at this point because I don’t know what to do.”
Domenica then went on to detail her mental health struggles resulting from the podcast episode being released.
“At this point, it’s gotten to a stage where, when is it going to be too much?” she asked.
“When is this kind of ‘reporting’ or this kind of ‘journalism’ going to be too much? To the point where it’s literally ruining someone’s life. It may potentially cause someone to harm themselves. When is it going to stop?”

As revealed in episode 304 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Domenica also matched with her new boyfriend Jack on Tinder before she met her ex. And talk about adding fuel to the fire!
“[Domenica] and Jack matched on Tinder and went on a date before she met Luke,” a source close to the former TV bride dished.
“Then, she met Luke and found out pretty quickly that they were best mates,” they said.
As such, “she had to pick and she chose Luke”.
“In their speeches at the wedding, they both joked about how Jack almost ended up as the groom,” the source added. “They often talked about how ‘the better man won’ and all these kinds of jokes.
“They all thought it was funny at the time.”
