FBOY Island host Abbie Chatfield has revealed that she has a “real addiction to work” and will be taking some time to re-evaluate her priorities.

In the latest episode of her podcast, It’s A Lot, the TV personality told her fans that she’s recently been in Thailand at RAKxa Wellness retreat to work on her “burnout”.

“I’ve been absolutely depleted and burnt out from the start of the year,” the 28-year-old started.

“I’ve realised that my priorities need to shift, as I’ve taken on so many jobs and I’m trying to figure out what I do and don’t want to do. I’m trying not to push myself to work way harder than I need to,” she said.

The Bachelor breakout star then admitted that she’s realised she has a “real addiction to work”.

“These five days [in Thailand] have been incredibly difficult, which is bizarre because all I’ve done is get massages and swim.”

The Masked Singer panellist went on to say that she felt that her only value came from her work, which is what fed this “addiction” in the first place.

Abbie Chatfield plans to shift priorities and focus on her podcast

The podcast host told her listeners that moving forward, she isn’t going to “push [herself]” to do something “just because [she] can”.

“It’s time for me to evaluate and reprioritise things so that my podcast is my main priority,” she said.

”I want to get rid of this ‘podcasting block’. I’ve struggled to be creative with the podcast this year. I’ve not felt that I’ve done it justice, to be honest.”

The I’m A Celebrity 2021 winner also admitted that she’s neglected her social life over the past few years.

“All I’ve done is work. I don’t have a social life anymore. I’ve gotten to a point where ‘normal’ is working so much and not socialising and it’s led to social anxiety,” she confessed.

“I’m trying to reprioritise so I can give you all the best content and be happy in my life.”

Abbie also revealed that she’s going to take a “step back” from social media.

“I’m trying to figure out what’s important to me and that’s gonna take therapy, mindfulness and a lot of active change,” she finished.

This comes after Abbie apologised to her Instagram followers for her social media absence on July 17.

“Reprioritising things and have realised I need to change,” she wrote. “Hopefully I can actually listen to my body and mind and stick to what I’ve promised myself.”
