Married at First Sight Australia 2021’s Bryce Ruthven recently dished he’s returning to radio after a two-year hiatus, but the job might not be as glamorous as he’s made out.
ICYMI: The controversial groom previously worked in radio in Canberra before appearing in the experiment, though was fired following complaints of bullying.
Post-show, he was dumped from TWO radio jobs before officially starting in the roles, as reported by So Dramatic!.

Then, Bryce revealed on June 13 that he finally landed another stint, this time at Disrupt Radio, leading fans to believe he’d be on the airwaves again.
However, as reported in episode 303 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one source said that “Bryce isn’t even on air”.
“He’s just pushing buttons for another show,” they said. “Definitely not a Disrupt Radio presenter.
“He’s not even on the website at all.”
Apparently, the 32-year-old is “just panelling” for Bob Geldof’s show.
“Sure, he’s technically in radio,” the source continued. “But at an unknown station in a demoted role to what he was doing on-air previously at Australia’s biggest radio company.”
Bryce has reportedly “kept his other job” because this radio job “is not stable”.
The insider concluded: “I would be surprised if he was even getting paid for this. I think it’s more a volunteer-type role for people keen to get radio experience.”
So Dramatic! has contacted Disrupt Radio for comment.
Bryce Ruthven attempted to SUE the Australian Radio Network
In July 2022, it was revealed Bryce was suing the Australian Radio Network for $333,000 after they revoked a job offer he’d already accepted.
As previously reported by So Dramatic!, the controversial groom accepted a job with Launceston’s Chilli FM that May.
However, the offer was rescinded after Bryce’s predecessor approached the “big regional boss of ARN”, making it clear that Bryce was “not to be hired”.

The father-of-two vehemently denied the claims at the time. Then it was revealed he believed he was entitled to a settlement from the radio station after confirming that his employment was made null and void.
According to the Herald Sun, Bryce’s lawyers sent a “letter of demand” to ARN in June. It claimed a breach of contract, detailing the reality star’s loss of earnings, damage to reputation and emotional stress.
Bryce and his TV wife-turned-IRL wife, Melissa Rawson, had reportedly already set in motion their relocation to Launceston when the offer was revoked.
