Married at First Sight Australia 2023 breakout star Evelyn Ellis is about to make yet another TV debut, though this time it will be on Channel Nine’s travel series, Getaway.
The bride won fans over when she entered this year’s marriage experiment as an intruder, and we’ve only continued to enjoy watching her online as her romance with Duncan James blossoms.
Now, come June 24, viewers will be able to follow along as Evelyn shows them around her “vibrant hometown” of Sydney.
In a press release spruiking the 27-year-old’s latest TV venture, Nine dished that Evelyn is “now on another adventure to fall in love all over again”.
“It will be love at first sight for viewers as Evelyn stops off at Balls Head Reserve to showcase her favourite view of the harbour, before enjoying her cocktail of choice at Cantina OK!,” it read.
Her “fun-filled itinerary” will then follow her to the Imperial Hotel for a game of drag bingo. And TBH, this actually sounds a hell of a lot more wholesome than MAFS ever was!
Having shared her recent travels on social media with her followers, Evelyn said it’s a “true privilege” to give “the city [she calls] home” the Getaway treatment.
“These spots are some of my best-kept secrets and I’m thrilled that the rest of Australia will have the opportunity to add them to their travel to-do list.”
Evelyn will also appear in her second instalment of Getaway on July 8. We can’t wait!

Getaway and Married at First Sight join Evelyn’s resume alongside Big Brother UK, which she appeared on in 2016.
The reality star found herself at the centre of viewer complaints when she appeared on the series during a five-year stint of living in England.
The criticisms came after Evelyn shared a steamy kiss with another female contestant in a spa while topless, under the direction of Marco Pierre White Jr — yes, the son of that scary AF MasterChef guest star.
Despite the public TV pash, the model confessed she wasn’t looking for love.
“I feel like a guy that’s good enough for me would not be in the Big Brother house,” Evelyn told viewers at the time.
And while we would’ve said the same for men appearing on MAFS, it seems she’s found a catch in Duncan.
He even revealed that he’s “keen” on marrying the model and Channel Nine, get that ceremony on TV, ASAP!
