Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Ollie Skelton has revealed he would return to the show under one key condition.
We know what you’re thinking: isn’t Ollie in a wholesome AF relationship with his MAFS bae Tahnee Cook?
The answer is yes! But don’t worry, he’s not looking to go through the experiment again as a groom.
Chatting to Yahoo! Lifestyle, Ollie revealed he wants a more reputable gig on MAFS should he return.
“Hell yes I’d return as the narrator,” he dished. “I don’t think they’d do it, but that would be funny.”
However, the 26-year-old wants to “give it a little Love Island spin” and channel his inner Iain Stirling, who is the voice-over artist for the UK dating series.
“Just watered down,” Ollie added. “That guy’s crazy. He’s very funny though.”
Looking back on his own season, the groom said that MAFS’ long-time narrator, Georgie Gardner, was often savage with her remarks about him and Tahnee.
“Sometimes that narrator would get you with a little zing,” he recalled. “[She would say things like] ‘as Tahnee and Ollie figure out where Fiji is’.
“Like, hey!”
Ollie Skelton launches his own podcast
The confession comes after Ollie launched his podcast TOSSER, which stands for The Ollie Skelton Show Everyone Rates. Creative!
In his first episode, Ollie posed the ultimate dare for his bestie Rupert.
“Do you think there’s anybody on the show that you could call and say: ‘Hey, do you want to pretend for a month that we’re in a fake relationship?” Ollie asked.
Like the good sport he is, the electrician picked up his phone and called one of the MAFS brides, telling her he’d been thinking about her a lot.
“You only get a short time on this crazy thing called MAFS and I was wondering … Do you want to set up a few pap shots and make it a thing for a month for the publicity?”
The mystery bride laughed and responded: “If you want to, we can do that.”
