The Real Housewives of Sydney is getting rebooted after a five-year hiatus and we already know one of the ladies who’ll be joining the cast and no doubt stirring up some drama.
There are a few faces who have been rumoured to be joining the show, however, the official cast is yet to be confirmed.
But luckily for you, we’ve got word on the street about one castmate who has already started filming the series.

As revealed in episode 283 of the So Dramatic! podcast, this new housewife is none other than Dr Kate Adams, the owner of Bondi Vet Hospital.
“They said they will be commencing filming in the coming months but filming has already started,” our insider dished.
“They just said that to put the paps and media off.” Genius!
Who is Kate Adams?
According to her personal website, Kate describes herself as an entrepreneur, speaker and media personality.
In her website’s bio, Kate says that she’s “a bit out of the box”, stating that she’s always had “big dreams, a curiosity about life and an unwavering sense of determination.”
Her passion for pets and science led her to become the owner of Sydney’s Bondi Vet Hospital.

However, Kate wears many hats. She’s also the Director for the ASX-listed medical cannabis company, Cannpal Animal Therapeutics and the founder of gift card tech business Thankly. Whew. It sounds like she’s girl-bossing her way through life!
The world of reality TV doesn’t come without its healthy dose of incest because it turns out Cannpal is the same company that Married at First Sight’s Layton Mills is the CEO of. Maybe he encouraged Kate to sign herself up for the Z-list too?

Although she seems to live a glamorous life now, things weren’t always so rosy for Kate.
“As a young girl I grew up in an area with no daddy trust funds,” she wrote on her website.
“Those years were tough, but what they taught me was how to back myself, challenge the status quo and how to fail (and get back up!).
“I learnt early on that I had the ability to change my future and build a life and career I loved,” she added.
Kate’s also no stranger to being on TV, as the businesswoman has made several appearances on the Today Show, Studio 10 and Sunrise.
We can’t wait to watch Kate, we feel like she’ll bring great energy to the show!
What else do we know about The Real Housewives of Sydney reboot?
Binge’s executive director Alison Hurbert-Burns has revealed that the RHOS reboot will feature a whole new cast of women.
“The Real Housewives franchise is wildly popular across the globe, and we felt a cosmopolitan city like Sydney needed to have a brand-new local version,” she said in a statement.

“We have a great team of creative forces driving the fresh series and we can’t wait to introduce Australians to the new group of Sydney housewives in this reimagined series.” Yaas! Inject this into our veins stat!
Despite Binge‘s announcement that filming would commence “over the coming months“, one insider told So Dramatic! that filming has already started, which means the show could be hitting our screens sooner than we think!
The 10-part series will be available on Binge, Foxtel and Matchbox Pictures, and we can’t wait for the drama to begin!
