Australian Survivor: Heroes v Villains’ Liz Parnov has taken the crown this season and fans have been celebrating her huge win.

During the epic finale on March 27, the 28-year-old Olympic pole vaulter won the title of Sole Survivor after voting out her strongest competitor George Mladenov earlier in the episode.

But it wasn’t an easy win.

Before queen Liz reigned supreme, the four finalists had to compete in the brutal Final Immunity Challenge, where they took uncomfortable positions against a pole with prongs pressed into their backs.

As the challenge progressed, the prongs were pushed further and further into them, making it harder for the contestants to stay put.

Gerry Geltch was the first to surrender after one hour of standing. George lasted three hours and 50 minutes, and Matt Sharp lasted four hours and 10 minutes, leaving Liz the last player standing.

Fans thought Liz’s win was iconic, and we couldn’t agree more! We wouldn’t have lasted two minutes on those poles.

However, Liz’s win left George shaking in his boots.

“The fact that Liz has won is not good for me,” he said. And boy was he right!

When the contestants arrived back at camp, Gerry, who’d seemingly lost hope, volunteered himself to be voted out.

However, the 62-year-old tourism pilot was denied his wish, as Matt and Liz both had their sights set on the same victim: King George.

In the end, all three contestants turned on the public servant, voting him out during the Final Tribal Council.

As Liz gave the dumpee a final goodbye, she whispered in his ear “I finally got you.”

“This is revenge for Shonee Bowtell,” she confessed. “I’ve been waiting for my moment to take him out.”

As expected, fans went absolutely wild for Liz’s queen-like antics.

The jury crowned Liz the Sole Survivor

When it was time to face the jury of eliminated players, Liz gave a spectacular performance as she outlined why she deserved to win.

She spoke of her ICONIC move that resulted in King George being voted out, saying it was her best moment in the game.

“I have played a far more exciting game than the two people sitting next to me,” she said.

“That’s why I am in the position to be the Sole Survivor.”

Liz’s bad-ass pitch won over the jury, resulting in her taking home the crown and the rather generous $500,000 prize.

Go get your bag girl!

Fans paid tribute to George’s legendary performance

Whilst King George didn’t end up as the King of Survivor, fans were still very impressed by his performance throughout the season.

This season ended with a bang, and we hope to see some familiar faces return to Australian Survivor next year!
