Australian Survivor: Heroes v Villains’ Nina Twine was voted out during the most recent Tribal Council after her plan to expose George Mladenov backfired, resulting in her narrowly missing out on a final four spot.

It was a solid effort considering her tragic injury-ending season on Australian SurvivorBlood V Water last year. So unfit for the daughter of franchise icon Queen Sandra Diaz-Twine if you ask us.

But her gallant return to the game, on the very beaches Queen Sandra won US Survivor: Heroes vs Villains in 2010, was eventually toppled when Princess Nina failed to crack King George’s rock-solid alliances – yes, plural!

“I’m better off with a happy Gerry and an unhappy Liz.” George reasoned as he made his final decision leaving fellow contestants Liz Parnov, Gerry Geltch and Matt Sharp to keep fighting alongside him.

Fans flocked to Twitter to farewell their Princess Nina

As the episode wrapped Twitter was awash with praise for Princess Nina, as her devout subjects call her, begging for it not to be the last time we see her.

Many said Nina did her mother proud and proved that she is “true Survivor royalty” and made a resounding plea for her to return to the show with all its brutal challenges.
