Australian Survivor: Heroes v Villains 2023‘s Rogue Rubin is being DRAGGED after claiming she’s “more African-American” than her Black co-star, Nina Twine.
ICYMI: The eighth season of Australian Survivor has kicked off, but unfortunately for animal activist Rogue, her route to friendship has not.
She first suggested she was closer to death than co-star Gerry Geltch — a literal plane crash survivor — because a lion had bitten her, and it was all downhill from there.

Chatting with Nina, who appeared on Australian Survivor in 2022, the duo discussed where they’re from.
“North Carolina,” Nina said in the January 30 episode. “On the east coast. All the way on the other side.”
“Because I live there half the time, I don’t need you to explain it to me like I’m an idiot,” Rogue hit back. “I work in the US all the time.”
Then, it somehow got worse: “I’m more African-American than you are, you need to understand that. Because I’m from Africa.”
Sure, Rogue was born in Cape Town, South Africa, but that absolutely does not mean she can diminish another person’s heritage and culture.
Sandra Diaz-Twine SLAMS Australian Survivor‘s Rogue Rubin’s comment
Taking to Twitter and Instagram, Nina’s mum and Australian Survivor: Blood v Water 2022 co-star Sandra Diaz-Twine slammed Rogue’s comments.
And let’s just say she did NOT hold back!
“Rogue B*tc* [sic] this is outrageous,” the two-time Survivor US winner penned. “How are you so ignorant!
“Didn’t you say you had a sense of right & wrong… B*tc* [sic] Please. Adios mate.”

Fans flocked to the comment section on Instagram to throw support behind Nina while condemning her co-star.
“What was one of the most disgusting comments I have ever heard on Survivor,” one user wrote. “Who [the f*ck] cast her.”
Another expressed: “That was disgusting for her to say that… Good on ya Sandra for sticking up for your daughter!”
“Nina was so composed in that moment. She is going to slay this season,” a third fan decreed.
On Twitter, fans were just as baffled.
Now, if this is the bullsh*t Rogue is spinning on Day One, we can only imagine what’s to come in the rest of the season.
That’s if she doesn’t get voted out, quick sticks.
