Survivor Australia’s Sophie Cachia has sold her engagement ring, months after splitting from her ex-fiancée Maddie Garrick in October 2022.
As reported in episode 246 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the 32-year-old uploaded a video of the diamond jewellery online, explaining it had “bad juju” because of the breakup.
“Such a weird experience. Anyone after a ring?” Sophie asked on Instagram.
She continued: “Mum told me to keep it because I worked hard for it… but I’m not here for the bad juju it brings to my space & to put it simply: it hurts my heart.”
Could it have anything to do with the fact she recently went public with her new 21-year-old girlfriend Sophie Van De Heuval.? We think so!

She explained that the two small (but still pretty massive) diamonds featured on the ring represented her two children, while the centre mega-diamond represented herself.
“It actually meant so much for me to design it for that reason with the meaning behind it,” she said.
“To not even be seen as worthy or meaningful for more than six months… babe, you gotta go.”
She even added Lily Allen‘s song “F*ck You” to the Instagram Story. Kinda love that for her!
