Sophie Cachia shared a message for her ex-fiancée, Maddie Garrick, following their shock split two weeks ago.
The Australian Survivor star — whose break-up has continued to intrigue fans since the announcement on October 23 — said that she has chosen to have a “positive mindset”.
“While breakups are sad for everyone, I have chosen to have a really positive mindset, and I have peace knowing we shared a wonderful few years together, and I wish her all the best both personally and professionally overseas,” she told The Herald Sun.
Instead of having a “poor me” mindset, the mum of two believes that “every challenge in life will provide you with a lesson”.
“You can either choose to stay the same or grow from it, and I promised myself I’d never let anyone break me again.
“I could play the poor me card, or I could look at the life I’ve built — I have two incredible children, a beautiful home and a wonderful career. I really have everything I need.”

On November 8, Sophie shared a video on her Instagram Story showcasing a copy of Yarra Ranges Kids Today, where she is featured talking about “relationships and family”.
Within the pages was a full two-page spread and interview where Sophie talked about “finding new family” after her separation from Jaryd.
Since the interview was done pre-breakup, there are photos of Sophie, Maddie, Bobby and Florence enjoying time together.
Sophie Cachia Has Been Spotted on Hinge
While Maddie has seemingly soft-launched her relationship with basketballer Sara Varga, Sophie was spotted back on the dating apps.
As reported in episode 228 of the So Dramatic! podcast, it seems that Sophie is ready to move the eff on as well after being seen on Hinge.
Doing God’s work, one sneaky spy took a screenshot of Sophie’s “just joined” profile, which featured just her name and a hot pic.
On November 7, Sophie took to Instagram to update her fans on how she was doing post-split.
Sharing a video of a donkey falling head first over a fence, she edited with some footage of herself with text: “When people ask me how I’m going!” LOL!
“Guyssss I’m really fine I promise I just needed a giggle at myself [sic],” she captioned the post.
Sophie has now deleted all traces of Maddie from her social media.
