Married at First Sight Australia 2019‘s Martha Kalifatidis and fiancé Michael Brunelli have welcomed their first child and oh baby!
The reality TV couple announced the birth of their baby boy in a sweet Instagram post on February 27 and revealed his unique name.
“Lucius Brunelli. He’s here, he’s perfect,” Martha, 34, wrote alongside an image of their bundle of joy wrapped in a baby blanket.
In the comments below the post, Michael, 32, clarified how to pronounce the child’s name, writing, “LOO-SHUS if you’re wondering.”
Earlier this month, Martha revealed the baby will have a classic Italian name as a nod to the country he was conceived in.
The fan-favourite couple told fans on September 5 that they were expecting their first child after discovering Martha was pregnant while holidaying in Rome.
However, the TV bride has been suffering from the rare pregnancy illness Hyperemesis Gravidarum.
The heavily pregnant influencer revealed the gender of her baby on February 9, sharing a reel of the moment she discovered whether she was having a boy or a girl.
“Oh, boy do we have news,” Martha captioned the heartwarming video.
The footage begins with the reality star in black bikini bottoms floating in a pool of water before it flashes to a sonogram of the couple’s unborn child.
Michael is then seen gifting his fiancée a jewellery box before several intimate family moments flash through the footage.
As Martha opens the jewellery box she is overcome with emotion before revealing the sex of her child.
“It’s a boy,” she and Michael can be excitedly heard saying in the footage. Michael gifted the mother-to-be with a stunning blue diamond gender reveal ring to mark the occasion.
“Heeeeeeeeee will be here soon!” Michael wrote on his Story alongside a blue love heart.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better reveal and for Martha to have something to remind her of the strength she’s had throughout the last nine months.”
Michael also shared an image to Instagram of Martha’s belly, with the caption, “Heeeeeeeeeeeeeee will be here soon!”

Martha recently opened up about how her journey to motherhood had been both “exciting and terrifying.”
Michael also revealed how Martha’s hyperemesis gravidarum ‘nearly destroyed’ their relationship. He first thought her symptoms were normal, but as the weeks went on, her discomfort became “extreme.”
“She was vomiting, refused to eat, couldn’t tolerate drinking water, was nauseous 24 hours a day and unable to get out of bed,” he told Body & Soul.
