The Bachelor Australia alums Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne have CONFIRMED they’ve landed a plum full-time radio gig with their Life Uncut show.
ICYMI: the reality TV besties turned their wildly successful podcast into a two-hour weekly radio special in early 2022. So Dramatic! later revealed in October that their popularity pushed them into KIISFM’s daily 3 pm drive timeslot for 2023.
Now, Brittany and Laura have finally announced their new stint, revealing they’ll also be joined on the airwaves by their longtime collaborator, Mitch Churi.
Taking to Instagram on January 22, the trio revealed all about the new gig.
“Been out here tryin’ to pick up for a while… so seemed like a natural progression,” Brittany penned.
“Well this is a pinch me moment if I ever did have one!! So excited to say that 3 of us will be in your ears Nation wide, Monday to Friday from 3-4pm! [sic].
“See y’all soon on THE PICKUP with Britt, Laura and Mitch on KIIS.”
The prime-time position follows on from Brittany’s short stint on breakfast radio, filling in for Jackie O Henderson on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, before heading up Summer KIIS over the Christmas break.
Laura shared a similar sentiment, musing that she “thought [her] days of picking up were over”.
“BUT THIS IS WILD!!! I’m so excited to be able to share with y’all that I will be co-hosting THE PICKUP with these two fabulous humans,” the mum of two wrote.
Laura, who wed Matty “J” Johnson after meeting him on The Bachelor 2017, also reassured fans that OG Life Uncut podcast episodes will still be happening.
“So do not fret.”

As reported in episode 221 of the So Dramatic! podcast, an insider told host Megan Pustetto that Kate Langbroek, Yumi Stynes and Monty Diamond “will be out of a gig” once the Bachie babes take over the drive slot.
At the time, they dished that the reality stars had been “offered a multimillion-dollar deal with ARN [Hosting] the 3 pm PickUp weekdays in 2023, as well as continuing their podcast, Life Uncut“.
The source then revealed that ARN is putting whole lotta money and effort into making Life Uncut the number one show.
“There have been internal instructions to focus all budgets from the sales team and money into the show with the talent costing so much,” they said.
