The Bachelors Australia 2023 leads reportedly got a “stern” talking to from producers after posting unapproved content on Instagram.

The revamped Channel 10 series has faced multiple obstacles since filming in mid-2022, including several postponements.

This means The Bachelors‘s three leading men and their many suitors have been bound by contract far longer than they’d anticipated, and it seems they’re all getting a bit antsy with waiting for the show to drop on January 9.

According to Yahoo! Lifestyle, Ten Network bosses have been forced to step in after Thomas Malucelli teased a self-help book he wrote, while Jed McIntosh has been promoting his new music on the ‘gram.

One source told the publication that the two unlucky-in-love beaus are ruining the “integrity” of the series by trying to cash in on their projects.

“When the leads have so many projects ready to drop and promote before the show, it ruins the integrity a little and the illusion these people are there looking for love,” they explained.

“They’ve been told to hold off with their side projects until after the show has aired.”

This isn’t the first serious convo executives have had to have with The Bachelors stars.

The Bachelors 2023 Stars Slammed for Hanging Out with “Embarrassing” Married at First Sight Stars

In October, it was reported that all participants of the upcoming series were given a slap on the wrist for associating with the “embarrassing” Married at First Sight 2022 cast.

According to the Daily Mail, Ten shot off an email to all The Bachelors stars, warning them to “stay away” after Jed was spotted with Olivia Frazer at a Team Ellis boxing event.

“It said they were embarrassing, and if we wanted our [Instagram] blue ticks and $5,000 bonus, we had to stay away from any events or other reality stars,” a source claimed.

But what is this $5k bonus, you say?!

As reported in episode 113 of the So Dramatic! podcast, it was revealed that Australia’s Bachie Nation was implementing a bonus system for contestants.

According to our sources, The Bachelor and The Bachelorette 2021 stars were given additional clauses in their contracts where they would receive cash if they kept their mouths shut.

If they complied, they’d also get a verified Insta account which, TBH, is what they’re all there for, isn’t it?!
