Legendary Aussie country singer Keith Urban will be a hard act to follow, but Seven has confirmed they’ve got a major international star in the works to replace him as a judge on The Voice Australia 2023.
Keith Urban recently confirmed he would be stepping away from his judging role (for now) so he could go on tour and be with his fam. Aww!
“I feel very close to everybody on the set, and hopefully, the door can stay open because I would jump back in a heartbeat,” Keith told The Daily Telegraph on October 8.
He added: “Much like The Voice in America, ‘ x’ amount of coaches come and go depending [on] their schedules. I would love to hope that The Voice might afford me that opportunity as well.”
Who is the New Judge on The Voice Australia 2023?
The celeb was big enough to keep Australia’s media elite on the edge of their seats, with Sonia refusing to dish a name.
That doesn’t mean there weren’t already some whispers on the down low.
We could also see the return of Kelly Rowland or Boy George to the lineup.
Or imagine if scandal-ridden Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine headed Down Under for low-key TV redemption.
But our most dramatic (and pretty much just wishful thinking) guesses are both multi-Grammy award winners and former The Voice judges – Ariana Grande or Miley Cyrus!
