Big Brother Australia has crossed into dating show territory, with the 2023 theme teasing romance galore for the new housemates.
ICYMI: A casting call for the next series was put out in August, musing that “all single Housemates are invited to come and play Big Brother‘s game”. A.K.A. The new season is DEFS gonna be certified f*ckfest…
Now, a Big Brother insider has confirmed the loved-up twist while spilling a sh*t-ton of deets about the new instalment.
As reported in episode 225 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the source revealed that the 2023 season is labelled “Big Brother’s House of Love” — a title set to be unveiled at Channel Seven’s Upfronts event on October 25.
“There will be 14 singles going into the house,” they said, adding that there will be “no celebrities, just influencers”.
Okay, so really we should be calling it Big Brother‘s House of Love and Blue Ticks, non?
The production insider also unveiled when filming is set to kick off.
“The housemates are entering lockdown this week, with filming to begin on October 31.”
News of the show’s looming start date comes after its official social channels issued a callout for fans to apply to watch the new cast enter the Big Brother house as part of the “Arrivals Night” audience.
Big Brother Australia 2023 Is Expected to Have a Shorter Runtime Than Past Seasons
According to the OG casting call, Big Brother Australia 2023 will adopt a shorter filming period than the past Fan vs Faves season.
However, the 2023 contestants will have to duke it out to make the top three in less than 50 days! Sounds like there’ll going to be a few more double evictions and a lot more drama.
Hook it to our veins!
