While The Block Australia 2022’s Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra wanted to leave the show, it turns out that they weren’t the only contestants ready to pack up their tools.

ICYMI: A few weeks ago, Sharon and Ankur were in hot water after “cheating” in a wine challenge, with the subsequent events causing them to want to vacate the premises.

Now, as reported in episode 213 of the So Dramatic! podcast, an on-set source has revealed they weren’t the only ones with an exit plan.

“Yes, Sharon and Ankur wanted to leave, and producers begged them to stay multiple times,” the source dished, adding: “But everyone wanted to leave at some point. All of the contestants were saying it.”

Even though there was discourse amongst the cast, only the former Neighbours star and her husband were called out for it.

“When Sharon said it, Scott Cam called her ungrateful and made it into a big thing when it wasn’t like that. Everyone had breakdowns, cried, and threatened to walk off and leave the show.”

According to the So Dramatic! spy, Jenny Heath broke down “multiple times,” especially when foreman Keith Schleiger and builder Dan Reilly shut down their build multiple times.

“She spat the dummy big time about that,” the insider revealed. “But they’re not showing everyone else threatening to leave because they can’t have the whole cast wanting to walk off.

“It would look bad for the show.”

Why Did Contestants Sharon and Ankur Want to Leave The Block 2022?

According to another So Dramatic! insider, Sharon and Ankur were “blindsided” because they didn’t think leaving was “abnormal.”

As we reported in episode 211 of the So Dramatic! podcast, they revealed that the pair “didn’t realise you weren’t allowed to say it’s hard work” and “want to leave”.

Scott then questioned the Blockheads and allegedly called them a “bunch of f*cking c**ts”.

When So Dramatic! went to Channel Nine about Scott’s alleged comment, they vehemently denied the claims.
