The Block Australia 2022’s Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra walked off set after a tense exchange between host Scott Cam and Shelley Craft.
During the September 7 episode, the couple was questioned about their “attitude”, causing them to drive away from the set in their van.
“I reckon we just quit, f**k it,” Ankur said before Sharon added: “I can’t believe they did that to us. No one cares about us here.”
The Blockheads failed to return for the rest of the episode.
As reported in episode 211 of the So Dramatic! podcast, an on-set source has revealed what actually went down and let’s just say, it was way worse!
What Scott Cam REALLY Said to Make Sharon and Ankur Leave
According to our reliable insider, Sharon and Ankur were “blindsided” because they didn’t think leaving was “abnormal.”
“They didn’t realise you weren’t allowed to say it’s hard work, and they want to leave,” the source dished.
While we saw Scott question the pair, it turns out he said A WHOLE LOT more, allegedly calling the couple a “bunch of f*cking c**ts”. Lol, wut?!
“After he said that, Sharon was crying and said she wanted to leave again,” the So Dramatic! insider said.
Sharon walked off; however, they made it look like she left because she didn’t like being confronted about the other conversation.
“The producers were begging them to stay, and Sharon knew if she left, it would look bad on her, their relationship and the show, so they agreed.”
When So Dramatic! went to Channel Nine about Scott’s alleged comment, they vehemently denied the claims.
“The outrageous claim that Scott Cam spoke to the cast members this way is completely untrue,” a spokesperson said.
What Happened When Sharon and Ankur Decided to Stay?
“She stayed, and they annihilated her character,” the spy said. “Then, at the dinner, producers had to try to make sense as to why they were so upset, and he [Scott] told everyone they apologised and had a change of heart.
“But they never apologised to anyone because there was nothing to apologise about. That didn’t happen.”
