Jessika Power has revealed that her pay cheque for The Challenge Australia left much to be desired compared to her previous reality TV stints.

ICYMI: The 29-year-old was initially slated to appear on the new Paramount+ series that follows a reality star-studded cast as they compete in a series of — yep, you guessed it — challenges.

However, Jessika revealed that she was dropped from the show just days before filming due to a “creative decision” made by producers.

Now seemingly no longer bound by The Challenge contracts, the former MAFS bride has dished that she was copping peanuts for her involvement in the show.

Chatting to Megan Pustetto in episode 210 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Jessika didn’t disclose the exact amount she would’ve copped had she appeared. However, she did offer a comparison for another show she was on.

“The pay cheque wasn’t as big as Big Brother [VIP],” she confessed. “But once you get to your third or fourth show, it’s not about the money.

“It’s about getting to do TV again.”

Jessika reportedly pocketed $20,000 for her appearance on Channel Seven’s celebrity iteration of Big Brother in 2021. However, this has never been confirmed by the reality star herself.

She has since appeared on Celebs Go Dating UK and is slated to star in a The Simple Life-esque series with her Big Brother VIP co-star, Imogen Anthony.

Jessika Power Discussed Her Potential Reunion With MAFS Rival Cyrell Paule On The Challenge

During the podcast, Jessika also revealed her plan of action going into The Challenge, seeing as she’d be starring alongside her MAFS 2019 rival, Cyrell Paule.

“I did freak out a little,” she said of the potential of going up against Cyrell on TV again. “I freaked out because we just genuinely don’t get along… and I was gonna have to live in a house with her.”

She hopes the duo have matured since their on-screen feud, but Jessika isn’t convinced that is the case.

“We did the Married at First Sight reunion last year… [Cyrell] definitely hadn’t matured by that point,” she confessed. “She was still throwing glasses of wine at me.”

As for what would’ve happened had she appeared on The Challenge: “I think I would have just tried to make it work, but I think we definitely would have come to blows.

“It’s inevitable. We just don’t get along.”
