Jessika Power has revealed that she and her Married at First Sight Australia 2019 rival Cyrell Paule were once offered $60,000 to go up against each other in a boxing match.

From name calling to wine slinging, the controversial brides nearly came to blows several times during the sixth instalment of MAFS.

Their feud boiled over into the real world and now, Jessika has told So Dramatic! that there was an opportunity for her and Cyrell to put their rivalry to bed once and for all.

Chatting to host Megan Pustetto in episode 210 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the 29-year-old said the offer came when she was fresh out of the marriage experiment.

“When I first came off MAFS, we got offered… I think it was $30,000 each, to do the boxing,” Jessika confessed.

Revealing that both of them agreed to the fight, things took a turn when Cyrell refused to use protective gear.

“She was like, ‘No, I’m not using headgear, not using this, I’m not using that’,” she recalled, adding that she wasn’t up for undoing her “expensive” cosmetic surgery.

“I was like, ‘Well, I’m sorry, but you may not love your face but I love mine, so I’m not doing it’,” she continued.

“I pulled out because I’m not gonna get into a ring with her like, no, girl, are you kidding me?”

Reality star boxing matches have become increasingly popular in recent years, with MAFS 2022 grooms Daniel Holmes and Brent Vitiello the next pair to throw punches in October.

Jessika Power Discusses the Potential of Facing Cyrell Paule On The Challenge Australia

Jessika and Cyrell were slated to face each other in Buenos Aires to film The Challenge Australia, but the Celebs Go Dating UK contestant was ultimately dropped from the show days before production began.

However, Jessika admitted that she “did freak out a little” at the potential of going up against Cyrell on TV again.

“I freaked out because we just genuinely don’t get along… and I was gonna have to live in a house with her,” she said.

The new Paramount+ series follows a bunch of reality stars competing in Survivor-like challenges, while also shacking up together in a yuge property.

Adding that she hopes the duo have matured since their on-screen feud, Jessika isn’t convinced that is the case.

“We did the Married at First Sight reunion last year… [Cyrell] definitely hadn’t matured by that point,” she confessed. “She was still throwing glasses of wine at me.”

As for what would’ve happened had she appeared on The Challenge: “I think I would have just tried to make it work, but I think we definitely would have come to blows.

“It’s inevitable. We just don’t get along.”
