Married at First Sight Australia 2022’s Daniel Holmes and Carolina Santos have been donezo for a few weeks, and it has been revealed that the bride went straight back to an ex after their breakup.
The former couple, who got together through this year’s MAFS “cheating scandal“, revealed they had broken up in early August after they were “bombarded” with questions about their relationship status.
Yahoo Lifestyle has confirmed that she not only met up with her former bey, but they have now blocked each other on Instagram.
“The split was far from friendly as Daniel made it seem on Instagram,” a source told the publication.
“Especially now he’s heard Carolina started catching up with an ex-boyfriend pretty quickly after they broke up, and he moved back to Brisbane.”
What Has Daniel Holmes Said About His Split with Carolina?
On August 9, Daniel took to Instagram to set the record straight about where he and Carolina sat.
“We had a unique experience together… but life just has a different plan for us,” he penned at the time.
Then the 31-year-old told So Dramatic! that while they were good together, “no relationship is perfect”.
“It’s the best decision for now,” he continued, confessing that you can never say never to them getting back together.
“Who knows what happens in the future.”
As exclusively revealed by So Dramatic! in March, Carolina dated a 33-year-old before the experiment who looked suspiciously like her TV victim hubby, Dion Giannarelli.
While we’re not sure if he’s the ex she started talking to, it’s all verrrry suspect!
