Beauty and the Geek 2022 has drawn to a wholesome AF close, with Beauty Karly Fisher and her Geek Aaron Seeto winning the season and $100,000 in prize money.
However, the fast friends won over the eliminated contestants with their final bid to be crowned this year’s champions.
“I don’t usually get emotional, but at times like this, it’s needed,” Aaron, 30, confessed to host Sophie Monk.
Meanwhile, 28-year-old Karly was in disbelief over the win.
“It’s real. It wasn’t a dream. That happened. Thank you, guys, so much for believing in us,” she said.
The beloved pair may be pocketing some serious moolah, but they walk away from the experience with something much more valuable: their friendship.
In their speeches to their co-stars, the duo expressed just how much they’ve grown by learning from each other.
“I wouldn’t be where I am today without you,” train driver Aaron told his partner. “You’ve come into my life and impacted it in the most positive way possible.
“I now know what it feels like to be loved and have people genuinely care about you. Now when I’m looking into that mirror, I no longer see average, I see awesomely amazing … with a touch of hotness and sexiness.” BLESS!
What Did Karly Fisher Say About Her Beauty and the Geek Partner, Aaron Seeto?
“You have accepted me for exactly who I am,” she admitted. “You’ve taught me it’s OK to be strong and soft at the same time. I’m so grateful for you.”
As for what they’re going to do with their huge wad of prize money, Aaron said he’s going to use it to fix one of his own insecurities — his fake front teeth.
“Going in, I was so nervous, I have so much self-doubt, I didn’t believe in myself and now that’s all kicked to the kerb,” said the Geek, who was previously awarded a hunky makeover.
“I am so overwhelmed I can’t even put into words how much this means to me, to us,” Karly penned. “I see all your messages, your love and support. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
“Thank you for changing my life [Beauty and the Geek].”
Meanwhile, Aaron had a short but sweet message for his Beauty.
“To Karly, I’ll always love you forever. Grateful doesn’t even begin to come close.”
