“A lot has happened to me, especially in the last 12 months,” she confessed. “I need something like this to help me let go of negative energy.”

The 30-year-old added that her past long-term relationship left her with a litany of trust issues and, as a result, she struggles to open up.

“I had the life where I was getting the house, maybe [getting] married or engaged,” she said. “I lived and breathed this person and that went left very quickly.”

Bri then revealed that she fell pregnant in the “last stages” of that relationship. However, it sadly resulted in a miscarriage.

“I never talk about it but… I was heartbroken,” the former NRL cheerleader admitted.

Despite her past, Bri said she already felt like she was making great progress in the Beauty and the Geek experience, all thanks to her Geek, Chris Mattiske.

“I’m slowly starting to learn how to trust again and that’s all from Chris,” she noted.

Revealing that she received “hundred of messages”, the Beauty said sharing her story was more than showing fans “what has shaped [her] into the woman [she has] become”.

“I wanted to share my story… to also raise the chat of having miscarriages and use my platform to raise awareness. [sic],” Bri wrote. “It’s not spoken about enough however it’s such a common issue that happens to [one in four] women.”

The medical secretary added that she will be “fulfilled” and “honoured” if her experience helps “just [one] person”.
