Radio presenter Kyle Sandilands has bought a multi-million dollar house in Sydney’s Hills district – but the purchase will actually save him money.
The Kyle and Jackie O Show host paid $3 million for an eight-bedroom mansion in Glenorie, with the substantial price tag including a sprawling 9580 square metres of acreage.
With stunning period features, it’s not the kind of property we would expect the radio shock jock to settle on after years of Kyle saying he didn’t want to be “handcuffed” to a house.
“In the past, I didn’t want to lock down anywhere because I wanted to be able to go and live in LA for a few years or maybe London,” Kyle told Domain in May.
But little surprise, the Daily Telegraph has reported that Kyle and his fiancee Tegan Kynaston plan on doing significant renovations to make this property his “dream home”.
The purchase comes just before the expected arrival of their baby boy, Otto. Please, can they get him a tiny hard hat?

Kyle and Tegan are currently renting a five-bedroom house (or uh, castle?) in Sydney’s affluent Bellevue Hill, with a weekly rent charge of $8,000. Umm… what?!
In comparison, his new purchase had previously been rented out during the pandemic for $1200 per week, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Kyle’s current rental property was sold last year to an investor for a whopping $13.8 million and if Kyle and Tegan stayed there for just one year, they would have paid $416,000 in rent.
Holy sh*t.
