Shock jock Kyle Sandilands has revealed the name of his baby boy, which he is expecting in the next six months with fiancée Teagan Kynaston.
During a radio break on his hit breakfast show — KIISFM’s Kyle and Jackie O — on March 10, the former Trial By Kyle star announced that they had already chosen a name.
“I was thinking, because Kyle’s having a boy, in 20 years time, like, it’s the ‘Kitty and whatever-you’re-going-to-call-your-kid Show’,” his co-star Jackie O said about his new arrival and her 7-year-old daughter, Catalina “Kitty” Henderson.
“Otto. That’s what we’re going to call him,” Kyle then added.
He continued: “I don’t think it’s gone down too well with the family. Even Tegan’s mum goes, ‘Oh, there’s no need to rush into a name’ and my auntie Jill went, ‘What sort of stupid name is that?'” We like it!
Jackie O then quipped she thought it was funny that the pair were both naming children after famous Sydney restaurants — Otto in Woolloomooloo and Catalina in Rose Bay.
“We’re ensuring a lifetime of free food!” she said before Kyle added: “I wanted to call [my son] Grill’d because I like those burgers, but Tegan said no. She prefers Otto.” LOL!
Kyle and Teagan Announced the Gender of Their Baby In the Most Kyle Way Possible
Kyle and his former staffer, who have been dating since 2019, announced the exciting news live on his radio show, The Kyle and Jackie O Show, on February 14.
On February 25 Kyle and Teagan announced the baby’s gender via a f*ck off gender reveal party on the radio programme.
Taking to the show’s official Insta account, they announced that there was a male heir to King Kyle’s fortune!
“Baby Sandilands is…. a BOY!!” they captioned a carousel of images and videos from the gender reveal.
After the announcement, Jackie O said she “couldn’t be happier” for the pair.
“It’s going to change your lives forever,” she said. “I am so happy for you guys.”
