Married at First Sight Australia’s Domenica Calarco broke a very long-standing rule at the 2022 Logie Awards and got caught.
As reported in episode 194 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the reality TV star attended the awards show alongside Ella Ding, Jack Millar, Brent Vitiello, Al Perkins, Dion Giannarelli and Selina Chhaur. However, Domenica took it upon herself to invite bestie Isabella Polistena.
During a bonus episode of her podcast, Sit With Us with Ella, the TV bride revealed that not only had Isabella been flown up to “do content”, but they also snuck her onto the red carpet, before she was swiftly kicked out!
According to a well-placed source, none of this was meant to happen.
“Domenica asked to have her there,” they dished.” She wasn’t meant to attend the actual Logies or walk the red carpet but Domenica talked her in and snuck her inside.
“However, she ended up being removed from the red carpet when they realised she wasn’t meant to be there.”
Of course, this did not sit well with the other cast members who were not allowed to bring a plus one — which by the way is a rule for ALL of the industry, except Gold Logie nominees.
Isabella Posted Content Throughout the Red Carpet
Just like every single person on the red carpet, Isabella posted a number of videos and photos of herself at the event.
This included one of her walking the red carpet with the MAFS cast, dancing in a sectioned-off VIP area reserved for talent, and our favourite, one of her watching herself back on TV!
“When you weren’t even allowed on the red carpet but somehow snuck in for an hour-long journey before getting kicked out then made it on tv. [sic] LOL!
Pays to have a bestie on TV, amirite?!
