He may not have signed on the dotted line, but the hot policeman who pulled out of The Bachelor Australia 2023 at the eleventh hour is still looking for love.
As previously reported by So Dramatic!, a well-placed source told host Megan Pustetto that said cop was in talks with producers to be *one* of this year’s Bachelors.
However, the potential star pulled out of The Bachelor 2022 at the last minute because he was forced to choose between the hit dating show and his career.
Now, So Dramatic! can exclusively reveal that Melbourne police officer Heath is still single and ready to mingle!
The father-of-one slid into Megan’s DMs following the last podcast, expressing that he’s still on the hunt for Mrs Right.
But, before we get into the dating profile side of things — here’s why the hunky coppa dropped out of The Bachelor.
Why Did Policeman Heath Drop Out of The Bachelor 2023?
According to the Melburnian, he would have “loved” the experience but the logistics were too difficult.
“Honestly, I would have loved to do it and potentially find my person,” he said. “But VICPOL didn’t like the idea and I would’ve missed my son like crazy being away from him for so long.”
Heath added that his son is a “beautiful kid” who was “so keen” for his dad to appear on The Bachelor 2022.
“Everything happens for a reason though,” he concluded.
The dad (daddy, if you will) also revealed that producers approached him “about a month or so ago” after friends tagged him in several casting posts.
“Then Warner Bros. started following me [and] it all went from there,” he said. “I think they wanted a single dad, and they said the uniform was the cherry on top.” We concur!

Heath said he’s been single for “some time now”, mainly because it’s “hard to meet people organically”.
“The dating apps are good for a confidence booster, but it’s hard to find the real deal, especially with a kid in the mix,” he confessed.
The policeman stands at a healthy 6’1″ and loves AFL and all things fitness. He’s also a pretty keen traveller and enjoys caravaning in his time off.
The boy-dad is a yuge family man and likes kicking back with his mates over a beer.
In his words, he’s a “pretty average bloke”.
Heath is also a fan of Married at First Sight and, TBH, a man who loves reality TV as much as we do? There ain’t nothing average about that!
