Locky Gilbert may not be the true villain of SAS Australia 2022 after claims emerged that his edit was dramatised to protect rival Pauly Fenech‘s reputation following their infamous feud.

The former Bachelor and the Housos star found themselves amid many fiery stoushes during the latest season of the Special Forces series, with their feud being the biggest drama of the season.

In fact, Locky’s “d*ckhead” behaviour — and, in turn, his edit — saw many fans of the show turn on him during the show’s 2022 run.

However, as revealed in episode 177 of the So Dramatic! podcast, a number of SAS Australia insiders dished that Locky’s antics were played up, while Pauly was given a favourable edit.

“The edit for Locky was f*cked,” one source said. “No one was on Pauly’s side but Channel 7 are backing Pauly’s new show, hence his edit.”

According to Screen Australia, the controversial star’s new series, Housos: The Thong Warrior, is currently in post-production.

The insider also told So Dramatic! that the cast is not on good terms with Pauly — and that includes Chief Instructor, Ant Middleton.

“Pauly is not in any of the group chats with the contestants and Ant follows everyone but Pauly,” they revealed. “I think that says it all.”

Was Pauly Cast to Intentionally Cause Drama On SAS Australia?

The cast even suspected Pauly of being recruited to intentionally cause drama among the contestants.

One source dished: “When the contestants were getting their microphones put on each day, they would go in groups into this room with the crew but Pauly always went in alone.

“They all suspected he was planted as a mole to stir up drama this season,” they continued. “He would steal the other contestants’ belongings and deliberately be late so he can get everyone in trouble.” Well, then…

Pauly Slams Locky In Post-Show Podcast

After his exit from the intense series, Pauly spoke out against Locky during a chat on the SAS Australia Debrief podcast.

“You can see it on the show, he is immature. He might be big, but he acts like a child,” Pauly said of his co-star.

He added: “I knew he was a d*ckhead on the course, but I didn’t realise what a total w*nker he was.”

While Pauly already wasn’t keen on Locky during their time on SAS, he admitted that his opinion of him soured once the show began airing.

For the first time, the 49-year-old saw Locky persisting with his two-faced behaviour, even after the pair had made an effort to patch up their bitter relationship.

“What I did not know until I watched the show was that he stabbed me in the back two seconds after shaking my hand,” he confessed.

Can we count on an amicable reunion for these two? Probs not!
